ESL Market News from Today’s ICEF Monitor

Today’s ICEF Monitor highlights three stories related to the demand for ESL programming in Latin American markets–and they are not the “usual” markets that we are accustomed to hearing about.

Click below to read their recent posts about the following markets:

  • Panama – Plans to train 2,000 English teachers per year, mostly through overseas immersion programs.
  • Chile – Demand for English training continues to grow due to globalization of the economy and government policies.
  • Peru – There is a policy in place that commits the country to bilingualism by 2021, which has resulted in an increased demand for English training and for EFL teacher training.

Big thanks to ICEF Monitor for keeping us updated on the goings-on in these markets, as related to ESL student recruitment!
